Dr Masood Rizvi is an accomplished agricultural scientist and leader with 18 years of international experience in agricultural product development, technology deployment, project management, talent development and negotiation of public-private partnerships. He joined Dow Agrosciences (DAS) in 2012 and has worked extensively on genomics and phenomics tools applying them in modern plant breeding. Prior to joining DAS, he worked as a research scientist/project manager in various international organizations including ICRISAT-India, INRA-France, IPK-Germany and the University of Saskatchewan. Over the years he has structured and worked on many public-private partnership projects with several international and Canadian institutes. Masood has served as an invited speaker and panelist in many agribusiness forums. Masood has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and four patents families on which he is an inventor.
